Congratulations to Team "Wireless Charging" (idea 56). We are really excited for all finalists and a really big thank you to all participants for your interest in this challenge!

We got over 200 submissions! 65 ideas got one or more TAPAS boards, 10 submissions were presentation-ready.
And now we have 5 finalists! YEAH 😃 The finalist's idea numbers were 40, 56, 68, 212 and 213.

Third Eye for Vision Impaired Person

“Third Eye for Vision Impaired Person”, will make it possible to eliminate the dependency between visually impaired person and normal human being as it will capture the sequence of images, process those images, recognizes the object in it, and will give the output in the form of voice instruction according to the object which is recognized.

It will serve as guide for visually impaired people by providing the voice instructions, so they will be able to take decision of routing by their own.

For this we will require,
Software requirement:
1. Operating System: Raspbian Debian wheezy
2. OpenCV
3. SURF algorithm
4. K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm

Hardware requirement:
1. Power Bank
2. Raspberry Pi 2
3. Webcam
4. Headphone

    That sounds great and very innovative idea as this will be very beneficial to visually impaired people. It seems to overcome all the limitations of the existing products available in the market.

    Actually, there is not that much current/power required for this idea, so might be the TASP will not require.
