Congratulations to Team "Wireless Charging" (idea 56). We are really excited for all finalists and a really big thank you to all participants for your interest in this challenge!

We got over 200 submissions! 65 ideas got one or more TAPAS boards, 10 submissions were presentation-ready.
And now we have 5 finalists! YEAH 😃 The finalist's idea numbers were 40, 56, 68, 212 and 213.

Swiming treadmill or endless pool

This endless pool acts as a treadmill, with controlled flow of water by body sensors, what allows  the water flow to be proportional to the swimmer's performance. The pool has a hydrodynamic design (That's the secret), but using a software controled speed motor, .can be used for therapy or training in academies. Inside hospitals, academies, houses, condos, etc.

    Sounds great. Do you have a pool to try this with? What kind of motor/jet would you require to make this work? What kind of sensors would you use?

    we built a small-scale model to assess hydrodynamic performance and it worked very well. We are now working on the full scale model. We are using a single-phase water pump with an industrial speed controller. The body sensor is not yet drawn but we are thinking about an ultrasonic signal in a belt attached to the abdomen and another fixed in the pool.
