Nowdays we have smart home assistants fixed and mobile, in one hand the fixed systems don´t offer flexibility in terms of movility and in the other hand, the mobile ones can be an obstacle to devolp some in house tasks. This system could be installed inside walls having the movility an space advantages in one solution, can be as complex as the user wants (camera, microphone, image projection, etc), the way I want to reach that is by using TAPAS board to develop the linear sychronous motor control in addition with an induction charging rail system that also can be controlled by TAPAS.
So by using TAPAS, the hardware size will be reduced considerably compared to the LSM solutions that exist nowdays on the market, this will let us install the charging rail system inside the wall or at the surface having a better integration with home enviroment and adding a lot more flexibility to reach any corner of the house at any time.
Combined with Raspberry Pi we can develop smart home assistant apps or directly use one of the virtual assistants on the market from GOOGLE or AMAZON, just to mention some of them.
Right now I´m the only team member, but I Know that if the idea is accepted on the challenge, I will have to look for help to develop the project.
