I am electro-acoustics student, doing projects related to audio driver reducing non linearity and distortion and solving/reducing them using simple available solution.
If you have come across music system playing loud you may have noticed distortion. If they are not managed driver or amplifier could be damaged irreversibly.
There exist a few solution in market which are expensive and are used by experts in this field. But my aim to approach through DIY project . So I am going to try via feed backing and managing amplified signal at driver side (like PID control). But I would like a user managed control with a direct access. I hope it can be achieved by TAPAS board with support from Raspberry Pi acting as CPU (see attached picture).
Also I am very well open to suggestions and contributions.
I am working alone and I would like one board.
this idea gets one TAPAS dev kit
