The idea is to have an autonomous vehicle specifically for 3D mapping my house. Using Kyosho MP9E chassis. Devices used (Low Current High Torque Motor, Speed Controller, Motor Braking + Drive Direction, HT Servo Steering, 4WD + Diff, Precision Rotary Encoders, Thermopile IR Array Sensor 5m, LiDAR 20m).
The system goal is to provide an autonomous internal 3D survey of my home using LiDAR. Once the system has created an accurate model the objective will be to program grid routines and object avoidance using sensor data.
This is a personal home project. I would only require 2 boards for development.
