    Hi Iuigi,

Can you explain how you are planning to use TAPAS as part of your project? Isn't it possible to implement it with just a Raspberry Pi?

    Best regards,

    Matthias Fella

Initially you need only one Raspberry
Raspberry is used for gate automation commands, camera management, input management
Tapas will deal with automation of gates and cameras Gigi

    Hi luigi,

sorry, but we need more input from you about your idea.
Please orientate yourself by the following:

What is the goal of your project?
How does the technical set-up look like?
How do you want to implement your idea?
(step-by-step guide, schematics, plan, video or presentation will help!)
Are you working in a team? List the names of your team members.
How many TAPAS boards will you need for your project?

All these things will help the readers to get a better understanding of what you want to do.

    Best,
    Nora @ TAPAS team

What is the goal of your project?
The project is used in the home as an anti-intrusion system and secure access (perhaps by zone) only to authorized persons.
How does the technical set-up look like?
The system is based on Linux.
It uses OpenCV libraries and infrared sensors to detect peopleAn appropriately designed computer vision-based people counting system can be more robust in handling cases of occlusion Here we use the OpenCV libraries and apply the Histograms of Oriented Gradients (HOG) algorithm to create a computer vision application for people detection and counting.
Raspberry Pi fingerprint sensor, for access in authorized areas
Tapas will be used as a motor controller (garage, gates, etc.)
Are you working in a team?no, but I avail myself of the advice of highly qualified people (respigotech.it)
How many TAPAS boards will you need for your project?
For now only one to test step by step the management of each area, then if I succeed I will proceed to the purchase of the cards that serve
I hope I've been expecting otherwise, thanks for your interest
    Yours sincerely Gigi

    Hi Gigi,

thanks for your reply and more information.
As we went through your pitch we are not sure if your idea fits the criteria of the TAPAS challenge.
I'm sorry, but your idea can't be considered.
    Best,
    Nora @ TAPAS team
